Dear World,
show was fun, thanks to the "come back when you wanters" lol the 3 girls
that sang alot of the songs from the front row.... that was very cool.... Midwest Avenue is gonna be working on writing and
learning new material, we may have a show in december but who knows..........me and robert douglas are gonna be writing some
tunes together.... there have been talks about having him with us again, which is cool cause he's fun to play with. we will
also be writing some tunes and heading down to nashville, tn. to show some stuff to a few people. then in 2005 january, Midwest
Avenue will be in the STUDIO! recording new tunes such as,
Come Back When You Want Right Now Actually Waiting For the Sun Just the Same Me in the
End Desire of Clarity
plus more tunues, but those are pretty much for sure for the cd...... Actually Waiting For the Sun is the only one that
may not be on it from the list... but it probably will.....
life is messed up,

Hola Senors and Senoritas,
We have new tunes that we are learning, alot of the upbeat and some personal
tunes, like always... lol i'll just list then and tell you what they are about-
"Just The Same Me In End" This is probably my most personal song to date, its practically
saying to myself that no matter how much good stuff happens i always end up alone..
"Something For The Century" This song is mainly about all the emotions you feel when you
have been let down and then the person droping you like you are nothing.
"The Storybook Romance"
This is mainly like the after the fact of "Something For The Century", its about everything
being the way i thought me and the other person wanted it, and then the other person no caring.. haha
"Spend Hours
at the Movies"
First of all this song has nothing to do with the movies, to put it simple its everything that
i couldn't ever say to a person after all thats been going on, i just couldn't say it to their face so i said it through this
song.
"Collectively Always"
Pretty much about how it feels great to know that someone is always there for you.
"Actually Waiting For the Sun"
This is a pop upbeat tune, thats pretty much me telling myself to realize that i need to be
out of all the so called "emotions" for the time.

Dear Homies,
Sorry, its been such a while lol, UPDATES, as you all know that members of
Midwest Avenue have began other ventures but we are all still together and rocking. I've began a new band with some friends
of mine and we go by the name of "The Difference", My dad Scott R. Phares is playing with TNT & The Dynamite Cowboys-
they do big shows for big stars at nashville north in taylorville, il. Josh Phares is playing with his band Mellow Driven
Candle, and congrats to him and Wes Schmidt on winning a talent show and advancing in it. Jeff is still pursuing his ever
busy carving work by traveling and teaching. After August 22nd our last time that we've played together we've all been on
a break doing other things but we have a practice on September 19th and we will be learning some new tunes, and this should
start us back up hopefully and i'm gonna try to get shows booked, anyone that wants to book us TELL ME! lol .. Over the last
month my life has gone changed lol, happiness to sadness to what the **** back to cool then to whatever it is now, its wild
once you lose everything, you get everything in more in the end i guess....... thats the lesson that life has taught me up
til now in my life. So as you may hear at our next show from my song "Chapter 43: A Million Things About Something" its my
song for life and what i've learned and the way it is....you all freaking rock, even though we don't have a huge fan base,
those of you that come you totally rock and you are definitally cool in my book.
peace

Dear Chinese White and all colored Folkies,
Yes i'm writing to hardly no one again. I was bored today and thought it
would interesting to write what most of Midwest Avenue's songs were about, but right now i'll just tell you the universal
meaning of each song, the story will be told later, possibly at some shows... haha...
1. All My Dreams- This song mainly explains about thinking back to the past
and missing it so much, and realizing that everything you thought you had wasn't there.
2. Right Now- In any relationship you always wish and think "oh he/she is the
one for me, i want to be with them forever", truth= nothing really lasts forever, this song is knowing that the person is
the one for you at the moment and living like its forever, til forever is gone.
3. One Night- Long story short its about liking someone in the "falling" stage
of a relationship.
4. She Said Goodbye- Do I need to say more?
5. A Song For Today (The Story of a Situation That Was Never Really a Situation)-
This song came to me about a year after the whole deal that wasn't as i wished and wanted it to be at the time, but its about
me falling, and just me falling only and the other person, well didn't...
6. Come Back When You Want- I dedicate this to all those people that never
really knew me for me that liked me, thats all.
7. Unique- About falling and being with someone you like.

Its me, yet again your friend the only one that writes the stuff that no
one reads, but for the few that do, i love you, everything is cruising cool, hope to see more ppl at the shows from now on,
lol, which are gonna be rockin, sheridan, il was cool, me and josh didn't write anything... lol i wrote a few tunes and me
and josh wrote this little blues ditty, which was cool, one song emerged to me that could possibly be a midwest avenue rocker
called "A Song For Today", the song thats about is about a situation that wasn't really a situation, and i hope you all come
out to our next show to hear it, I LOVE YOU ALL!!.
i think... lmfao
your homie,
Scott Joseph

is it human nature for us to walk in circles?, indeed my friends indeed, i have been for years. But that story aside for later,
on with MIDWEST AVENUE STUFF WHOO HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... ok had to get that out..... lol, We had a cool show on June
12th, Tanks (thanks) to all you very cool people that came, we had like a 64 people turn out, but still cool, small crowd,
big place, O.K. band, still rock and roll. We did a few new songs and cover tunes and it went over pretty cool. Hope all of
you that went liked it... lol... We are now officially on TOUR, the title of the tour is ::The Night-Light Tour:: its gonna

a picture with me or the band and i'll give you a kiss...... ok well i won't give you a kiss cause i dont' like to scare people,
but that would be rad to do some picture stuff, we hope to get past the 150 mark with people, and i'm pretty sure we will,
its $5.00 to get in, and rock out and have a cool time with Midwest Avenue and the coolest most rockin christian rock band
around OUTSPOKEN, but its not all confirmed completely i'll know later on in this day (tues july 6th, its 1:40 a.m.) if for
some reason Outspoken isn't able to play, expect to see Nikky Bugg, or some other rocking artist or band, or if not you can
count on Midwest Avenue playing.... lol. Today we have our 1st practice for the big show on the 16th, at 5 tonight, the only
bad thing about the 16th is that its not going to be all 6 of us. Its gonna be me (Scott Joseph), Scott R. Phares, John Nicola,
and Jeff Phares. Roberto will be down in Gerogia on a family personal trip which is rockin', Josh has to work and will be
busy. That night we will be introducing some new songs that i'm sure you all will love. For those of you that haven't seen

B-Day on July 17th. I'll be going to Sheridan, IL. for a week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, or for however long. Me and Josh are trying
to set up some acoustic stuff for there but no confirmations yet from any place. We will write some killer stuff there for
sure to add to the vast growing song collection of Midwest Avenue, but i'll be away from my friends and my girlfriend, but
its part of life and a musician, traveling and being away is part of it, so i guess this is my 1st real test, and i'm always
up for a challenge to conquer like always, but i'll call all of you that i've talked to about calling for sure while in up
by chicago. Then we should be doing some shows in August and some acoustic shows that will be FREE, and i hope we could pull
in a crowd for a free show, but i've got to go now cause i'm getting tired, but PLEASE make it to the JULY 16th show, at the
great river road opry its a big show for us, if you need directions/help getting there, if the sites directions don't get
you straight feel free to call me anytime (217) 374-2679, if i'm not home, leave a message on the machine telling me to call
you back or leave your name and number with whomever answers the phone, cause i'm always in and out, or if you want to feel
free to call my dad Scott R. Phares, the drummer, he's home more than i am, he'd think its rockin if you called with some
questions (618) 576-2578. He will be writing some here too SOON! until then.

To the Pilist of the Grims of the Grimist,
Tonight is the big night, the opening of the Great River Road Opry. I can't get over how awesome it
is. Every show is worth attending. The people that run it are great and very nice people. Hillview has always been put in
the shadows of Greene County, but when something negative like a flood happens, then everyone knows about Hillview. But here
with the GRRO opening is a huge thing for Hillview, but is it all over all the papers....? nope. But I'm doing what i can
to help promote it cause its worthy. Believe me on this if i didn't have a feeling that it was a great place i wouldn't be
going on about it. Hope to see ya on the 12th of JUNE!!!!!!!!! lol

To the Pilgrims of Midwest Avenue,
As some of you may have heard we've got a huge show booked for JUNE
12th. Its gonna rock, its at this new place called The Great River Road Opry, its gonna revamp Hillview i think, i love the
place. We've got alot of stuff planned for this show, definitally be awesome the whole time. Plus we've got Nikky Bugg opening
the show for us. For all of you that have been living under a rock, she is a very talented young singer and is set to be doing
big things. This show is an important thing for us, and her. So come rock out and show some support lol. Whats $3 gonna hurt
ya?, oh yea just for some clairfications, the $5 a couple doesn't have to be like "boyfriend girlfriend things" it can just
be like 2 ppl going to the show, it will save you money but not much, lol but its still cool. You definitally won't be disapointed
if you go, we will be doing alot of our original songs like the ones on the cd plus some newbies, and some cover songs, like
Jack and Diane, Drift Away, Wanted Dead or Alive, Illinois, and a few others.... If there is one thing you gotta do this summer,
to start it off, its to come and check out Midwest Avenue and Nikky Bugg. On a one negative note, Josh won't be there, cause
he recently started working for the state prison in sheridan, il. but he might be able to make it, but its a slight chance.
But its my birthday that day, so thats some more motivation for you to come, and it will be fun.
Thanks for reading my mubo-jumbo smack talk
Scott Joseph

Dear Readers of this crap,
The CD is selling well, but not here in our home town lol, mainly out of
town, but still cool. We are learning and writing new stuff like always, we might add some acoustic stuff to the site, so
be on the look out for that if your interested.

Dear Fellow Peoplings,
